Located in the Alaró valley, at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana, this stone house with a private pool offers accommodation for 8 people, ideal for family holidays. The saltwater pool measures 8 x 4 metres and has a depth of 1.4 m, it is for private use and is surrounded by pine trees. There are sunloungers available, interspersed among the pine trees. You can swim accompanied by unique views of the Alaró valley while the only sound you hear is the singing of the birds. It has several terraces that invite you to relax and enjoy an outdoor dinner. For those who don't want to give up sports during their holidays, there is a ping-pong table, table football and a volleyball net. The owner is an artist and you will see different works such as stone statues in the garden. The plot is fenced and is ideal for those seeking tranquility and nature. This villa with character has all the services. In the spacious air-conditioned living room you can watch a film on the satellite TV or DVD with the children, listen to music or read your favourite book. In the typical Majorcan kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a banquet, including a gas hob and a dining table with chairs. The laundry room has a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an ironing board. On the ground floor there is a toilet. If you are travelling with a child, we can provide up to two cots and two high chairs on request. There are many board games for all ages in the house.
Two bedrooms, both with double beds, (one with a bathroom with a bathtub), are on the ground floor. On the first floor there is another room with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower and a hydromassage bathtub and a bedroom with two beds and a bathroom with a bathtub. Below, on the -1 floor, is the games room with table football and ping-pong, sofas and a shower room and fitness equipment. This establishment is perfect both in summer and winter, as there are two air conditioning units and four fans for the hot season and central heating for the colder months.
Alaró is a romantic place in the middle of the Sierra de Tramuntana and is ideal for nature and mountain lovers. Alaró is famous for its castle which can be visited via a good trail. Apart from this, the area is ideal for cycling or walking. You can visit the village of Orient, the Carthusian monastery of Valldemossa or the picturesque village of Deià. In Alaró there are a grocery store, restaurants and cafes.
As for the beaches, you can choose between sandy beaches in the south, such as Playa de Palma, or rocky coves in the mountains, including Port des Canonge and Cala Deia. By car you can reach the southwest part and visit the beaches of Palmanova, Portals Nous and Illetes. In this part of the island you will find theme parks such as Katmandú and the acrobatic forest course Jungle Parc Junior.
