Summary: This hotel is quite close to the rather small beach. It has a large lobby and some helpful staff. The first room could not be locked from the inside so after a written complaint as my verbal complaint was not taken seriously we were given another room with some added facilities the following day. However, there were black ants in this room, the commode seat was coming off at one end and the bed was so soft that I woke up with serious pains in my lower back on both nights that we slept there. The rooftop pool area was a highlight—a beautiful sun trap with comfy beds that was wonderfully quiet, perfect for relaxing in the late afternoon and early evening. The breakfast was nice and good value for the price, but the queue for the lone coffee/tea machine was long and slow so it is recommended that another machine be installed at the other end of the counter. We also had a great dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, where the food was delicious and the views of the beach were lovely. It would be nice if all rooms are thoroughly checked for issues and fixed so that customers have no cause for complaint.
