La Solana is situated along a small private lane on a pine-clad mountainside 1 km from the picturesque old village of Capdepera. The house overlooks the fishing port and holiday resort of Cala Ratjada, (about 2 kms away), with views of the sea. It is ideal for families and adult groups and those seeking peace and quiet, yet is within easy reach of many shops, fine restaurants and night-life. Nearby are superb sandy beaches and secluded coves, the nearest being 10 minutes walk. There are terraces for both the house and the pool for sunbathing/dining. The property is the private family residence of the owner and is furnished to a very high standard in the traditional style with every modern amenity. A car is necessary, and rental can be arranged with pick-up at the airport, 60 minutes away.

THE HOUSE: The villa sleeps 6 in three double rooms. However, there is an additional folding bed for an extra person if required. There are also 2 cots, high chair etc. for a baby. The surrounding area is superb walking country, and there is an 18-hole golf course 10 minutes away by car, and further three within 20 minutes.
With the high life only minutes away in Cala Ratjada, this quiet location is perfect for those who seek peace and quiet on their return. There are 4 terraces all perfect for sunbathing/dining outside or simply relaxing. Each has its own charm at different times of the day and year. Some prefer the 2 pool terraces, while others prefer the garden terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. From here you cannot see another house, only the green of the pines and the myrtle. The only thing to disturb your peace is the birdsong and the chirruping of cicadas in summer. There is a sun lounge with superb views of the bay-great for relaxed reading and catching the winter sunshine.
GOLF INFORMATION: La Solana is ideally situated for a golfing holiday and you will be spoiled for choice. There are three 18 hole and one 9 hole courses all within 20 mins drive. All are superbly maintained and offer a wide variety of challenging and interesting golf.
CAPDEPERA GOLF (8 mins drive-18 holes)
A very attractive mountain setting,and a well balanced layout offering some long holes with wide fairways and some short ones offering a very small target. An impressive clubhouse offers a warm welcome.
MORE COURSES: CAÑAMEL GOLF CLUB (10 mins drive-18 holes)
An interesting and varied course; well worth the visit. An interesting feature is the old farmhouse left on the 9th. Greens, fairways and trees are noted for their quality.
PULA GOLF (12 mins drive-18 holes)
A new course offering very comfortable facilities. Relatively flat, and offering a variety of differently styled holes. Spectacular views towards nearby mountains.
