Summary: I was not impressed with my stay at this hotel. As a single traveller, I specifically chose a hotel for the added security and convenience — not an apartment. However, when I checked in, I was told that all single occupancy guests were placed in an apartment block across the road from the main hotel, which was not staffed. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a hotel for safety reasons. I had to cross the road every time I wanted to go for breakfast or use the swimming pool, which made me feel vulnerable and uncomfortable, especially when returning later in the evening. I did ask the receptionist if I could have a room in the main hotel but was told this wasn’t possible. To make things worse, check-in was very slow, adding to an already disappointing start. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for solo travellers — it doesn’t provide the security or service you would expect when booking a hotel stay
