Casa Boquer with a private pool is a semi-detached Mallorcan country house located just outside the town of Port de Pollenca and within walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach, shops and restaurants (approximately 20/25 minutes). The property is situated in the picturesque area of Boquer, surrounded by countryside and nature with a dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains behind it. The house sleeps 6 guests and has been renovated as a holiday home with great sensitivity to the building's original design and decoration. Inside, it is cool and rustic with thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings, original tiled floors and beautiful antique Mallorcan furniture, some of it original to the house. On the ground floor, there is a spacious lounge/dining room which is reached by an exterior doorway, and a kitchen that combines traditional design with the latest fittings such as an electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Double doors lead out to a fantastic covered barbecue/outdoor kitchen area with an exterior full bathroom nearby. The three bedrooms are upstairs and consist of two twins (one of them with an en-suite full bathroom) and a double bedroom. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and a further full bathroom completes the upper level. Outside, the garden is well designed with a trekking/trail running circuit of 310 metres and stone sun terraces with pretty plant pots that run around the private pool. The views from the pool area are amazing, overlooking the whole resort of Port de Pollenca. Casa Boquer is a house with lots of historic character, a lovely place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a group of friends or family. It also makes a good base for walking, bird-watching, sketching and cycling due to the beautiful countryside that surrounds it.
